Welcome to Emmy Friends Foundation (E.F.F) is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting vulnerable children in Uganda through education support, girls’ empowerment, and sports development. We help ensure every child, whether athlete or learner, has the tools to grow, thrive, and lead.

About Us

Our Story

After founding Divine Athletic Sports Academy (DASA) in 2015 to help slum children in Mutundwe learn sports and gain free education through performance, we saw thousands of boys get their first school opportunities — some as late as age 12. But many siblings were left behind because they weren’t sports-oriented yet still needed education.

Our Programs & Impact

Sports Development

Sports teach teamwork, discipline, leadership, and confidence. E.F.F collects and distributes much-needed gear to underserved areas, from balls and boots to jerseys and training support.

Education Support

Many families struggle to afford essential school materials such as books, pens, and stationery supplies. To remove financial barriers so children can stay in school and thrive.

Girls in Uganda face barriers such as early marriage, poverty, and limited sports access. At E.F.F, we support them with school essentials, sports equipment, life and leadership and sanitary pads, helping girls stay in school

DASA

Divine Athletic Sports Academy (DASA)

Divine Athletic Sports Academy (DASA) was founded with a clear purpose: to use sports as a tool for holistic child development. We believe talent grows best when training is combined with education, discipline, and strong values.

At DASA, young athletes receive structured coaching that builds skills, confidence, and teamwork, while also encouraging academic responsibility and positive character. We create a supportive environment where both boys and girls are given equal opportunities to learn, compete, and lead.

Education gave me a chance to dream beyond poverty, and sports taught me discipline and hope. Through Emmy Friends Foundation, we are making sure no child is left behind whether on the pitch or in the classroom.
